Saying Hello (1 reply)

Nce to see the somer website up and running again. My name is Christopher Parry and I used to be the Cadet warrent officer at the squadron being a cadet for 7 years. I believe there is a new CO at the squadron as Bill Hamlin has now left. I enjyed cadets immensly and am curious whether we have reclaimed the best drill squad and best drill NCO rewards at wing events. I still remember the squadron being the 3rd best in the entire country. Nice to be back on the website and hope to hear an update of events.
Chris

Former 2282 Cadet (no replies)

Hi,

I am an ex-cadet and have just found the 2282 website so thought I would get in contact. I see a few familiar faces from when I was a Cadet (Blighty!). I am currently living in Manchester finishing a PhD in Aerospace Engineering and conducting some interesting research into the development of Flapless Aircraft.

For more information on the research see -[www.telegraph.co.uk]

I am occasionally back in Bristol and would be happy to organise a presentation on the concept of Flapless Flight including showing some videos of our model demonstrators.
Or in the meantime if any of the current cadets have any questions about pursuing a career or academic qualifications in Aerospace please feel free to email me at.
chipp@hotmail.co.uk

Glad to see the Squadron is still going strong.

Chip
